Marco Fernandes is the executive director in DNA Cascais (Entrepreneurship Agency), since 2006. Marco holds a Economics Degree, from Institute Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG) – Technical University of Lisbon (1995), a Master in Management (2001) and the Social Entrepreneurship program from INSEAD (2012). He is now finishing his doctorate degree in Economics in ISCTE-IUL. He worked for CGD until 1999, the biggest bank in Portugal, and after that in business consulting in Portugal and Portuguese language countries in Africa. From 2006 is working in DNA Cascais implementing the Entrepreneur Ecosystem in Cascais, since school and youth programs, business ideas contests, social entrepreneurship and supporting entrepreneurs in the startup creation process – business plan, risks mitigation and fundraising.
Paulo Andrez is a member of the board in DNA Cascais (Entrepreneurship Agency), since 2006. Paulo holds an Informatics Engineering Degree, from FCT – Universidade Nova de Lisboa (1992), and a MBA from the same University (2000). He was one of the founders and shareholder of the biggest IT Portuguese company – Novabase. From 2006 is in DNA Cascais implementing the Entrepreneur Ecosystem in Cascais, and since 2010 also in the board of FNABA – Portuguese Business Angels Association. From 2012 until May 2014 he was the President of the European Business Angels Association (EBAN) and currently he is EBAN President Emeritus.
Pedro Lourenço is a project manager in DNA Cascais (Entrepreneurship Agency), since 2009. Pedro Lourenço holds a Business Administration Degree, from Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG) – Technical University of Lisbon (2001), a Management Control and Performance Specialization, from INDEG IUL ISCTE (2009) and an Advanced Management Program, from NOVA FORUM/ UNL (2009). He worked for Deloitte until November 2007, in Management Solutions, Corporate Finance and Tax divisions. From November 2007 to December 2008, he was in Netcall – VoIP Telecom Operator as a Financial Controller. Presently, he supports entrepreneurs in the startup creation process – business plan, risks mitigation and fundraising.
Marta Nunes is a financial manager in DNA Cascais (Entrepreneurship Agency), since 2011. Marta holds a Business Administration Degree, from Universidad Lusofona (1998). She worked for Banco BPI until 2007, as branch manager. Presently, she is financial manager in DNA Cascais. She leads and supports all the processes related to financial and administrative procedures related to DNA and also to the CINet project.
Marta Andrada is a project manager in DNA Cascais (Entrepreneurship Agency), since 2010. Marta holds a Psychology Degree, from ISPA (2004). She worked in sports psychology and later in school entrepreneurship in Gesentrepreneur. Presently, she is the responsible for the school and social entrepreneurship programs in DNA Cascais.
Jean Baronet is an incubation manager in DNA Cascais (Entrepreneurship Agency), since 2010. Jean holds an International Relations Degree, from Universidade Lusiada (1998). Before he worked in bank industry (Santander) and was adviser to the Municipality Financial Counsellor. Presently, he is the responsible for the incubation center located in Cascais, managing more than 60 companies installed in virtual and physical incubation.
Pedro Sousa is communication manager in DNA Cascais (Entrepreneurship Agency), since 2013. Pedro holds a Journalism Degree, from INP (2014). Before he worked in several industries, having commercial and network management responsibilities. Presently, he is the responsible for the communication and operational marketing in DNA Cascais.
Cintia Santos is the administrative responsible in DNA Cascais (Entrepreneurship Agency), since 2013. Cintia holds a Degree in Education (2001) , from ESEI Maria Ulrich. Before she worked in education. Presently, she is the responsible for the general administrative procedures and front office management in DNA Cascais.
CINet has been promoted, and is coordinated, by the Universidade Aberta, Portugal; and it counts with partners from the UK, Spain, Greece, Romania, Portugal and France. Together, these partners are joining efforts to impact on entrepreneurial training cultures, and offer innovation and networking to creative entrepreneurs in three Southern EU countries: Greece, Portugal, and Spain.
